Reporting to: Grants Manager, Home Region

FLSA Status: Part time, Non-exempt
Location: Bentonville, AR;

The Walton Family Foundation is seeking a skilled, highly motivated, and adaptive individual to join the team as a Coordinator. The ideal teammate demonstrates exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can effectively support senior leaders, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to the operational excellence of the Home Region team.

About the Position

This position provides administrative and operational support to the Home Region Director and team. The Coordinator ensures efficient daily operations, manages scheduling and logistics, and supports collaboration across the Home Region program. The role requires professionalism, initiative, and the ability to balance multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and discretion.

What you will do

The Coordinator supports the Home Region team's leadership through calendar management, meeting coordination, document preparation, and event planning. The position contributes to the overall effectiveness of the department by facilitating communication, managing information flow, and assisting with team logistics and operations.

Responsibilities

    Provide administrative support to the Home Region Director and team, including scheduling, correspondence, and meeting coordination
  • Organize internal and external meetings, including logistics, materials preparation, agenda development, and minutes documentation
  • Anticipate operational needs of leadership and respond effectively to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Manage calendars, travel arrangements, reimbursements, and expenditures for senior team members with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with program team members, leadership, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Support onboarding of new team members, coordinating scheduling, orientation materials, and administrative setup
  • Assist in compiling, reviewing, and editing documents, reports, and presentations for the Home Region program
  • Support team meetings and events, including logistics for off-site gatherings and staff retreats
  • Provide administrative support for departmental projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Contribute to the positive culture, efficiency, and collaboration of the Home Region team

Qualifications required for your success

  • 3 - 5 years of full-time professional experience providing senior-level support
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and project-management skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly and follow-through consistently
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom

Benefits Information

Compensation Range: Part Time - Hourly beginning at $ 27.88
