Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide premier customer service to internal and external customers
  • Ship domestic flight (ltl, tl, air, etc.)
  • Prepare bills of lading, airship bills, and all other required documentation
  • Invoice customer and warehouse shipments
  • Prepare export expedites
  • Verify packing slips
  • Prepare shipping memos
  • Prepare shipment tracking
  • May have to provide international shipment tracking
  • Navigate Customer portals and Precision Shipping system
  • Communicate to Drivers and Dispatch for shipment bookings and pickups/deliveries
  • Hours are 8:00am- 4:00PM

Secondary Responsibilities (non-primary job functions):

  • Perform typing and filing
  • Maintain proof of deliveries
  • Review In transit Reporting for Discrepancies
  • Transmit ASN's
  • Transfilling
  • Investigate shortage requests and credit submissions
  • Perform E-Wix preparation
  • Any other similar or associated duties necessary to accomplish job objectives, or as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent required
  • Good data entry and typing skills required
  • Knowledge of filing systems helpful
  • Intermediate office PC skills required
  • Work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
