Technical Writer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Writer - Hybrid for a 7+ month contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in San Diego, CA.

Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour.

This role involves creating, developing, and editing operational, instructional, and maintenance procedures for a manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will interact with various users and technical experts to gather data, research technical information, and translate it into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences within an FDA-controlled environment.

Responsibilities:

• Create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for the manufacturing team to follow
• Meet and interact with various users and technical experts to gather data for documentation
• Research and translate technical information into documents for nontechnical and technical users
• Document engineering processes and specifications
• Recommend formats responsive to technical and customer requirements
• Produce products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards
• Meet with build requesters to gather their build request information, put together build packets and gather build approvals
• Manage ER Closures and Build Documentation Reconciliation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• A minimum of 2-5 years related experience or a Master's degree and 0-2 years of equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Adobe)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with Smartsheet
• Past experience in an FDA controlled environment or clean room environments
• Agile experience
