Come join our GTE Financial team! We are looking for an organized, sales-professional, strategic leader to join us asan Investment Sales Coordinator. The Investment Sales Coordinator will coach our licensed bankers in sales execution, pipeline management, and client engagement. They are responsible for the Licensed Banker Program across all locations, developing and coordinating training initiatives with the Financial Advisors, internal partners, and the GTE Talent Team. What does GTE look for as an Investment Sales Coordinator? Leadership:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of business.
- Coach, train, and manage Licensed Bankers, ensuring adherence to credit union and departmental standards.
- Monitor performance and activity levels, providing feedback and direction for growth and development.
- Motivate team members and set clear expectations for performance and responsibilities.
- Act as an operational supervisory resource supporting FINRA-licensed employees.
- Ensure proper onboarding, training, and ongoing development of Licensed Bankers.
- Drive accountability through regular branch visits, pipeline reviews, and coaching to ensure consistent execution.
- Partner with leadership, compliance, and advisory teams to identify growth opportunities, improve referral quality, and strengthen investment experience for members.
- Build strong client relationships focused on retention, trust, and long-term value.
- Provide guidance and education to clients on coverage, renewals, and policy changes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on clarity and responsiveness.
Strategic:
- Manage and oversee the Licensed Banker Program across all assigned locations.
- Develop and coordinate training initiatives with Financial Advisors, internal partners, and the GTE Talent Team
- Track licensing status, CE requirements, and program effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to improve production, referral flow, and client engagement.
- Serve as liaison between advisors, retail leadership, and business partners.
- Analyze performance trends to develop a targeted strategy that can be individually designed for CFCs or bankers.
Sales:
- Review client profiles for missing lines of business and recommend solutions (auto, home, umbrella, flood, commercial).
- Coach Licensed Bankers on sales execution, pipeline management, and client engagement.
- Drive referral generation and investment conversations within retail channels.
- Reinforce best practices aligned with investment program goals.
- Monitor productivity and sales activity to ensure performance targets are achieved.
- Conduct joint calling, branch observations, and coaching sessions.
- Develop investment campaigns, initiatives that increase visibility and performance.
Operational:
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in agency management systems (AMS360 preferred).
- Manage licensing requirements, onboarding, and renewals for all Licensed Bankers.
- Ensure completion and tracking of continuing education (CE) requirements.
- Maintain compliance with SEC and FINRA regulations.
- Partner with compliance and supervisory principles to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Maintain accurate records of licensing, CE, and program activity.
- Serve as primary contact for retail and internal partners regarding licensed employees.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting for compliance and audit readiness.
- Coordinate with broker dealer on operational timeline and expectations of the licensed banker program.
- Must demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- FINRA Series 7, and 66 licenses required.
- FINRA Series 24 required or to be obtained within 1 year.
- Florida 2-15 (Life, Health & Variable Annuities) insurance license required.
- Candidates who are not currently licensed must obtain required licenses within 6 months.
- 3+ years of production experience working with Licensed Bankers.
- 3+ years of experience in a licensed role within a bank or credit union.
- Strong understanding of investment products, sales processes, and compliance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Position Details:
- Location: Downtown Tampa - GTE Headquarters
- Department Hours: Monday- Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)
Full-time hours required, with additional hours necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects. The position is defined as hybrid in nature, (in-office, or remote) and may be changed at any time by management with appropriate notice, if possible. Required for Remote/Hybrid Work:
- A quiet workplace so you can focus on delivering excellent service to our members.
- Some positions will require performance standards to be met to qualify for alternative work arrangements.
- Required to have power and high-speed internet over 100MB (minimum).
- Video capability (connection of 1.5 Mbps up and down recommended).
- Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training.
- Hybrid candidates must live within driving distance of the office location and be able to regularly commute to and from the office location as needed.
