You'll help maintain strong compliance programs through audit support, documentation control, and regulatory reporting, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our compliance and safety management systems. What you will be doing... Your IMPACT



  • Track each vessel's internal survey window and related compliance items (COI inspections, Drydock/ISEs, etc.) to ensure surveys are completed on time and scheduled to minimize operational downtime.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (port captains, maintenance, operations, compliance) to schedule surveys and optimize vessel availability.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation to the TPO, as applicable.
  • Maintain organized records of survey reports, photos, and compliance documentation in company systems.
  • Track all survey-related deficiencies and monitor corrective actions through closure.
  • Communicate with USCG and our TPO as needed.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing trends across surveys to identify systemic risks and improvement areas.
  • Assist with continuous improvement of TSMS and survey programs.
  • Communicate status updates to the surveyor and relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Develop and distribute internal communications or articles highlighting key trends, findings, and lessons learned.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


What we are looking for...

You will need to have:



  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must develop (or possess) working knowledge and experience with industry standards and best practices.
  • Must develop (or possess) a working knowledge of USCG and government regulations, more specifically 46 CFR parts 136-144 (Subchapter M - Towing Vessels).
  • Must pass OSHA HAZWOPER and ICS 100-300, 700 and 800 courses and maintain those certifications.


Even better if you have:



  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of compliance-related experience.
  • Must develop (or possess) a working knowledge of government regulations applicable to inland and near coastal marine transportation (USCG, MTSA, VRP, VSP, FSP etc.).
