Job Summary

The Service Technician is responsible for providing high-quality mechanical service, troubleshooting, and repair support for hydraulic and mechanical equipment. This role focuses on repairing and maintaining hydraulic pumps, cylinders, motors, valves, gearboxes, and related systems to support customer operations and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on repair experience, and the ability to perform both shop and field service work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and service hydraulic systems and related mechanical equipment.
  • Repair hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and other hydraulic components.
  • Perform mechanical gearbox repairs and maintenance.
  • Read and interpret hydraulic schematics to identify issues and complete repairs accurately.
  • Fabricate and repair hydraulic power units as needed.
  • Perform tube bending and welding tasks to support equipment repairs and installations.
  • Conduct both repair shop and field service work while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Complete accurate and timely repairs to minimize customer downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
  • Work overtime and weekends as required to support operational needs.


Job Requirements



  • Experience repairing hydraulic pumps, hydraulic cylinders, and mechanical gearboxes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience reading hydraulic schematics and diagnosing hydraulic system issues.
  • Welding experience required.
  • Machinist experience preferred.
  • Experience with tube bending and hydraulic power unit fabrication preferred.
  • Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
  • Experience performing both repair shop and field service work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
