Job Description:

AriensCo is looking for a dynamic Manager, Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for how products are manufactured and how efficiently production systems operate. This role owns people leadership, process readiness, labor efficiency, and continuous improvement across fabrication and assembly operations. The manager ensures manufacturing processes are technically capable, efficiently staffed, ergonomically safe, and scalable, while developing engineering talent and partnering closely with Operations, Quality, Product Engineering, and Supply Chain.

THE DAY TO DAY...

  • Lead, coach, and develop a combined team of Manufacturing Engineers and Industrial Engineers

  • Set clear priorities, expectations, and performance goals aligned to plant and business objectives

  • Conduct performance reviews, support skill development, and build succession capability

  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and datadriven problem solving

  • Provide leadership over manufacturing engineering support for fabrication and assembly processes, including machining, forming, welding, paint, and assembly

  • Ensure production processes are stable, repeatable, and capable of meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets

  • Lead resolution of production issues, constraints, and process inefficiencies.

  • Support tooling, process changes, and automation initiatives in partnership with Operations and Maintenance

  • Own labor standards, time studies, line balancing, staffing models, and capacity planning

  • Ensure layouts, material flow, and work content support safe, efficient, and ergonomic operations

  • Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve throughput, labor productivity, and waste reduction

  • Use data and analytics to support decisions related to labor, efficiency, and capacity constraints

  • Lead manufacturing and industrial readiness for new product launches.

  • Partner with Product Design Engineering to ensure DFMA, manufacturability, and production scalability

  • Ensure processes, staffing models, routings, and work instructions are defined and validated prior to launch

  • Support rampup and stabilization activities postlaunch

  • Drive continuous improvement activities using Lean methodologies (standard work, kaizen, waste elimination)

  • Identify productivity and cost improvement opportunities across people, process, and equipment

  • Support capital project scoping, business cases, and implementation

  • Serve as a primary engineering partner to Operations leadership for daily performance and longerterm improvements

  • Collaborate with Quality on PFMEA, control plans, and process validation activities

  • Communicate clearly with leadership on risks, priorities, and progress

THE REQUIREMENTS...

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or related)

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive manufacturing/industrial engineering experience

  • Demonstrated success leading people, not just projects

  • Strong knowledge of fabrication and assembly operations

  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, work measurement, and DFMA

  • Experience supporting new product launches and production rampups preferred
