Develop and expand your skill set and strengthen your portfolio while enjoying your work as an Instructional Design Apprentice at Jack Henry.

The Jack Henry Knowledge Enablement Education Content Development team is dedicated to producing high-quality educational content in support of JH brands, products, and services. We are seeking an individual with both creative and technical aptitude to collaborate remotely with our experienced industry professionals as we develop content for diverse audiences within a dynamic environment.

As part of our team, you will encounter varied assignments each week-such as developing and editing video tutorials, adding closed captioning to existing training modules, transitioning survey results into team task items, and updating education content in alignment with current standards and user interface enhancements. You will engage in cross-functional collaboration and learn essential instructional design skills that add value to our department. The ideal candidate is self-driven, able to meet tight deadlines, and demonstrates strong teamwork.

Must Have:

  • Be a United States citizen and currently reside within the United States.
  • Meet all legal requirements to work in the United States for an indefinite period of time without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Be able to work 20-25 hours per week for the full 6month apprenticeship duration.
  • Demonstrate interest in instructional design, learning & development, education, or related fields, through coursework, selfstudy, or handson experience.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrate basic technical aptitude, including comfort working with digital tools, learning platforms, or multimedia content (e.g., video, documents, online modules).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong timemanagement, organization, and followthrough skill.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, adapt to shifting priorities, and manage multiple tasks under deadline.

What would be nice for you to have:

Familiarity with AI assistants such as Microsoft Copilot and/or Google Gemini would be helpful in this role. If you don't have that then a willingness to explore and learn in this space is essential.
