Position Summary:



The Department of Finance in the Sy Syms School of Business of Yeshiva University seeks one Assistant Clinical Professor in the field of Finance. The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate students at the Sy Syms School of Business, conduct scholarly research, and perform university service.



Position Responsibilities:



The successful candidate will begin in Fall 2026. This position represents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the scholarly presence in Finance at an internationally recognized research institution.

The ideal candidate will provide an essential addition to the Finance Department at Sy Syms School of Business and, depending on needs, will teach courses related to his/her expertise, such as Options and Futures, Fixed Income Securities, Risk Management; in addition to covering introductory finance courses that have had growing enrollment. We would also expect the candidate to continue his/her well-regarded research, aimed at publication in top peer-reviewed journals in Finance and related areas.



Experience & Educational Background:



Applicants must have a PhD in Finance or a related area from a recognized institution at the time of application.
