Alliance Technical Group is offering a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in AI at our Decatur AL office. Their work directly supports the AI and Machine Learning Department's goals of testing permits using PermitAI: Collect permits for all 2026 opportunities from multiple sources and websites. Process these permits through PermitAI. Validate outputs, including sources, parameters, limits and overall accuracy. Provide structured feedback to improve performance. Build a robust test dataset to support ongoing validation and refinement of PermitAI. Describe the intern's first assigned task or project: Testing permits using PermitAI: Collect permits for all 2026 opportunities from multiple sources and websites. Process these permits through PermitAI. Validate outputs, including sources, parameters, limits and overall accuracy. Provide structured feedback to improve performance. Build a robust test dataset to support ongoing validation and refinement of PermitAI. Key Skills the Intern Will Develop: What skills they will build, what they should be able to do independently by Week 12, and how their work connects to your team's goals. Attention to detail, using AI and data analysis Final Project Description: PermitAI is an AI project that can help pull structured data from unstructured permits and help with pulling sources, parameter and limits. The intern will help test different permits and ensure that PermitAI is successful. PermitAI can help reduce time taken by different people to read the permit multiple times (Sales during opportunity assessment, Business Partners during SOW creation, Ops during pricing, report writers during test plan creation, Report reviewers during report submission).
