JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Summer 2026 Internship: IT Assistant - The Fox Graduate School | Penn State University The Fox Graduate School is looking for candidates for a part-time position as an IT Assistant to provide first-level IT desktop support and help with special projects. This summer, the intern will contribute to hands-on work across several active IT initiatives supporting the Fox Graduate School. Typical hours fall between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, with flexible scheduling around other commitments. Responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Excellent customer service skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills are essential. A candidate for this position will be able to balance tasks and priorities and communicate technical issues to all levels of users. This position will also have opportunities to shadow team members, attend Fox Graduate School meetings, and learn basic SQL queries for data validation.
