We have an exciting opportunity for a PPE Inventory Specialist to support our Guymon, Oklahoma, processing plant operations. The PPE Inventory Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the inventory of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the Sanitation Department. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all PPE. This includes conducting regular audits, tracking usage rates, and forecasting future needs.
• Ensure that all employees have access to the necessary PPE. This includes distributing equipment and ensuring that all sizes and types of PPE are available.
• Maintain detailed records of PPE inventory, distribution, and training. Prepare regular reports on PPE usage and costs.
• Prepare PPE supplies at the beginning of shift for orderly distribution and ensure at the end of shift that PPE is stored properly.
• Assess state of PPE related to sanitation and wear and tear and report on findings.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• High School or GED.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including presentations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to become proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred:

• Intermediate in Microsoft Excel or preferred.
• Experience managing inventory.
• Bilingual Skills, Spanish and English preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to move around the facility.
• The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Primarily, it is an office environment with some need to work in the plant floor environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment depends on which environment you are in, which may require the employee to use hearing protection.
