Benefits Specialist - Support Employee Benefits, Wellness Programs & HR Operations at The Pasha Group

Join The Pasha Group as a Benefits Specialist, where you will support enterprise-wide benefits programs that directly impact employee wellbeing and organizational success.
In this role, you'll provide administrative and operational support for employee benefit and retirement programs while ensuring accurate enrollments, timely processing, and compliance with plan guidelines and regulations. You will collaborate closely with employees, Payroll, HR teams, brokers, and vendors to support benefits administration, resolve enrollment issues, and enhance the employee experience. Support Benefits Administration, Enrollment & Employee Experience
Help deliver accurate, timely, and employee-focused benefits support across the organization.
  • Process Benefit Transactions: Enter, review, and complete employee benefit elections and status changes within HR and vendor systems
  • Support Enrollment Activities: Assist with new hire enrollments, open enrollment periods, and qualifying life event changes
  • Communicate Benefits Information: Provide employees with timely and accurate information regarding eligibility, enrollment, and benefit plan options
  • Distribute Benefits Materials: Maintain and update benefits documents, resources, and employee communications
  • Coordinate Issue Resolution: Partner with vendors, brokers, Payroll, and employees to resolve enrollment and eligibility concerns
  • Support Wellness Programs: Assist with wellness initiatives, employee wellbeing programs, and volunteer time off (VTO) activities
Drive Accuracy, Compliance & Benefits Operations
Ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficient benefits administration processes.
  • Maintain Data Accuracy: Review and validate benefits data across multiple systems to ensure compliance with plan rules and eligibility guidelines
  • Coordinate Payroll Transactions: Support benefit-related payroll deductions, remittances, and wage-related benefit transactions
  • Support Compliance Activities: Assist with audits, filings, notices, reporting requirements, and retirement plan compliance processes
  • Prepare Reports & Audit Data: Generate census data, audit reports, and supporting documentation for plan renewals and implementations
  • Protect Confidential Information: Handle sensitive employee information responsibly while maintaining HIPAA compliance standards
  • Maintain Program Documentation: Compile and manage accurate participant records, reporting files, and benefits-related documentation
Collaborate, Support & Improve Employee Programs
Partner across teams to support operational efficiency and positive employee experiences.
  • Provide Employee Support: Deliver responsive customer service to employees and leaders across multiple business units
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Payroll, HR teams, brokers, vendors, and external partners on benefits administration activities
  • Support Team Initiatives: Assist with team events, communications, and department projects
  • Drive Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve benefits workflows, communication processes, and administrative efficiency
  • Promote Employee Wellbeing: Help coordinate programs and initiatives that support employee health and engagement

What You Bring
You combine strong organizational skills with benefits administration knowledge and a passion for employee support.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or related coursework preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in employee benefits and retirement plan administration
  • Experience supporting multi-state and/or union benefit environments preferred
  • Understanding of employee benefit plans, eligibility processes, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with HRIS and/or benefits administration systems
  • Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • CEBS, CBP, or related certification preferred

Zone 1: Starting rate $36.00; up to $41.00 for highly qualified candidates
