  • Wound RN Manager assists in the supervision of staff in the care of patients as related to skin care.
  • This position is responsible for patient care coordination working with the physician and staff nurse, providing direct operational support for the department, identifying barriers, and working toward resolution.
  • The Manager acts as a clinical resource person for the hospital staff, in regard to integument assessment and in the planning of nursing interventions; acts as a liaison between staff and management, assisting the director in determining staffing needs and identifying problems within the department.
  • The Nurse Manager provides the communication link between patients, physicians and others.
  • The position facilitates problem resolution and collaborates with the manager in assessing quality of care provided, identifying staff strengths and weaknesses, and in evaluation of staff performance.
  • The coordinator interfaces with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Four-year bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school
  • WCC Certification, Oklahoma RN License
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
  • Three (3) years of experience
