The Senior Procurement Coordinator will lead end-to-end sourcing and pricing initiatives across multiple operational groups. This role partners closely with Operations, HSE, Finance/AP, and business leaders to drive cost optimization, enhance supplier performance, and mitigate commercial risk through strategic sourcing and data-driven decision-making.
Job Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to
- Lead category and supplier strategies to drive cost savings, operational efficiencies, and competitive pricing while maintaining service quality.
- Own and execute complex RFQs and sourcing events end-to-end, including scope development, supplier engagement, bid evaluation, and award execution.
- Conduct commercial analyses such as bid leveling and total cost evaluations to support data-driven sourcing decisions.
- Negotiate pricing, service levels, and contractual terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive sourcing documentation, including bid records, assumptions, approvals, and supplier communications to ensure audit readiness.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, HSE, and Finance/AP to align sourcing strategies, support supplier performance management, and resolve invoicing or pricing issues.
- Develop and maintain pricing controls (e.g., price books, invoicing guidelines, change management) in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Create and manage dashboards and reporting to track spend, savings, supplier performance, and market trends, providing actionable insights.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, present sourcing recommendations, and manage supplier communications throughout the procurement lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- Eight (8)+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, and/or contract management, including ownership of RFQs and supplier negotiations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across Operations, HSE, Finance/AP, and suppliers.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple sourcing events, maintain detailed documentation, and meet deadlines.
- Advanced analytical skills, including experience with bid leveling, savings validation, and spend/performance reporting.
- Proven project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives through completion.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation) and PowerPoint; experience with analytics tools preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Spotfire, or similar).
- Working knowledge of OpenInvoice and OpenTicket, including OpenContract Pricebooks.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or CSCP.
- Familiarity with oilfield terminology and operations.
