Position Summary:


Lead the development and operational support of infrastructure, methodologies, and automation that enable scalable, secure, and traceable management of semiconductor IP and PDK deliverables. Drive consistency and efficiency across IP/PDK development, release, distribution, and lifecycle management by implementing robust data management practices, engineering workflows, and tooling infrastructure in support of design enablement initiatives.



Major Areas of Accountability:



  • Develop and maintain infrastructure for IP and PDK data management, including revision control, source control, release processes, and traceability
  • Define and implement IP management workflows, including packaging, versioning, and internal/external distribution
  • Manage and support IP/PDK release processes, ensuring consistency, documentation, and auditability
  • Administer and support ticketing/workflow systems for IP and PDK requests, issues, and tracking
  • Manage EDA tool license servers, including monitoring utilization, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing license allocation
  • Provide Linux system administration support for engineering environments
  • Collaborate with design, CAD, and process teams to improve methodology, automation, and usability of PDK/IP deliverables
  • Develop scripts and automation to improve efficiency, reproducibility, and reliability of infrastructure and flows



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field.


  • Minimum 10 years in IP and Design Enablement field.
  • Experience with revision control and source code management systems.
  • Experience with Linux system administration and scripting (bash, python, etc.).
  • Familiarity with semiconductor design flows, PDKs, and IP development environments.
  • Prior experience supporting engineering infrastructure, tools, or workflows.

  • US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of, or ability to obtain, a US government security clearance.





Preferred Qualifications:



  • Education. Master's degree in EE, CE, or CS - or equivalent experience.
  • 15 years in IP and Design Enablement field.


  • Experience with EDA tool environments and license management.
  • Defining and documenting compliance to design quality standards (ISO, 16949, QML).
  • Experience with IP/PDK release processes, data packaging, or design enablement methodologies.

The annual salary range for this role is $158,960 - $238,440. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
