| Primary Purpose of Position |
To serve as a faculty mentor for a oneweek, inperson
STEM summer camp focused on biology and biotechnology. Faculty mentors will provide instructional support, supervise laboratory activities, engage students in guided research projects, and offer structured mentorship to support student learning, confidence, and interest in
STEM career pathways.
Must confirm availability on Sunday-Friday (July 12-17, 2026) from 8:30 AM-3:30 PM (face to face)

| Minimum Requirements |
Master's degree required
Faculty appointment at North Carolina A&T State University or demonstrated expertise in biology, biotechnology, or related
STEM fields |
| Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education |
Doctoral degree preferred
Experience mentoring high school or undergraduate students
Handson laboratory experience in biology, biotechnology, or life sciences
Experience with recombinant protein expression, purification, or analysis is preferred
Commitment to supporting underrepresented students in
STEM
