Kalman & Company Inc. is seeking a full-time LOGSU Team Lead to oversee project-related warehouse operations in support of Naval Special Warfare missions. This position will be onsite in Coronado, CA at a government facility. This role includes managing inventory, supervising staff, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating shipping and receiving activities. The LOGSU Team Lead works closely with the Node Manager and Program Manager to ensure operational success and alignment with mission objectives. Applicants must be able to work independently and as part of a team, follow all safety and conduct rules, and comply with company policies. The salary range is $83K- $87K per year.

II. Specific Duties



  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government representatives.
  • Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records using ELMS (Enterprise Logistics Management System).
  • Oversee kit production and visual/technical inspections of CBR equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with WARCOM directives and quality standards.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff; assign tasks and manage performance.
  • Coordinate ensemble and mask sizing using CBR protective equipment; document sizing data.
  • Coordinate the issue and picking of CBR assets for LOGSU work orders.
  • Operate and maintain JSMLT and PATS-41 systems; perform mask tester validation and fit tests.
  • Prepare and process inbound and outbound shipments; maintain shipping records.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other MHE to transport materials.
  • Generate matrix-driven reports and maintain data accuracy in ELMS.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Set and monitor performance goals for remote locations; provide coaching and feedback.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a secure, clean, and organized work environment.



III. Minimum Required Education / Qualifications

Candidates MUST:



  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a High School diploma or GED.
  • Currently hold an active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Have experience in warehouse operations and team leadership.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to work on their feet for up to 8 hours a day in a non-climate-controlled environment.



IV. Preferred Education / Qualifications



  • Experience with ELMS or similar inventory systems.
  • Familiarity with CBR equipment and Navy logistics operations.
  • Experience operating JSMLT and PATS-41 systems.
  • Background in government or defense logistics support.
