As a Full-Time Specialty Pharmacy Technician with CPS Solutions, LLC, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Pharmacy Location: Located within Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm

As one of the region's leading healthcare providers, the hospital offers a wide range of services-including women's health, vascular care, and emergency services-supported by a collaborative, patient-centered approach. The on-site outpatient and specialty pharmacy plays a key role in enhancing continuity of care by providing convenient access to medications, personalized support, and coordination with providers to improve patient outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
  • Enter, review, and process outpatient prescription orders
  • Assist with procurement, handling, and inventory management of specialty medications
  • Provide excellent customer service, including answering patient questions, coordinating refills, and supporting medication adherence
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and internal teams to ensure timely medication access and delivery
  • Maintain compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Recent experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Proficiency with pharmacy systems and software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/CPhT)
  • 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Experience in a hospital and/or outpatient setting

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
