Position Summary

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Analyst is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the integrity of the Item Master within the Supply Chain Management Information System (SCMIS). This role supports value validation, contracting processes, and the implementation of supply chain strategies by providing accurate financial analysis, reporting, and data insights. The SCM Analyst plays a critical role in the timely preparation and presentation of analytical reports and serves as a consultative partner to Supply Chain leadership through written and verbal communication and financial analysis. While this position may have focused responsibilities, it will also support broader Supply Chain initiatives and activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Item Master within SCMIS, including importing, retrieving, transferring, reporting, updating, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Support value validation and contracting processes within Supply Chain Management.
  • Perform financial and operational analysis to support supply chain strategies and initiatives.
  • Prepare, validate, and present accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and data analyses.
  • Analyze data and statistics to measure performance, identify trends, and support decisionmaking.
  • Provide consultative services to Supply Chain leadership through clear written communication, verbal presentations, and financial analysis.
  • Communicate analytical findings, make recommendations, and facilitate datadriven change across the organization.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Support additional Supply Chain activities and projects as business needs require.
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred.

    Experience

    1. 3-5 years of Supply Chain Management experience required.
    2. Healthcare experience preferred; other relevant analytical roles with transferable criticalthinking skills will be considered.
    3. Required experience with Supply Chain Management Information Systems (SCMIS).
    4. Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials version 8.9 or higher preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    1. Strong analytical and criticalthinking skills with the ability to produce accurate, actionable results with moderate supervision.
    2. Demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheet, database, presentation, and wordprocessing applications (intermediate to expert level).
    3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex data clearly to diverse audiences.
    4. Proven timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple projects concurrently.
    5. Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
    6. Project management skills with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
