DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this Management Technician position, you will provide essential administrative and technical support that helps our Division function efficiently. Work also involves directly assisting the Director and Deputy Director of Sales and Retail Operations, maintaining good relations with the public, and ensuring the security of confidential information. Your duties will include the following:

  • Document Preparation: Prepare letters, reports, and other documents based on sales data, recruitment results, and ideas from leadership
  • Communication: Assist retailers by answering calls and resolving login issues, provide guidance on Lottery policies and programs to internal and external personnel, and process and distribute office mail
  • Licensing Application Support: Review and log license application packets, identify missing information, and coordinate with field and licensing staff
  • Data Tracking and Analysis: Monitor license status for all retailers and the specific needs or strengths of unique retailer groups to help with effective marketing plan development
  • Operational Coordination: Arrange travel, schedule appointments, and support preparation for conferences, meetings, and daily office operations

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Middletown. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
