Department: Communications Employment Type: Contract (6 months) Schedule: Full-Time \| Graveyard Shift Dress Code: Business Casual Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Communications Operator to support a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is responsible for managing high-volume phone lines, coordinating communication, and assisting with dispatch-related tasks. The ideal candidate has strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a high-pressure setting. Key Responsibilities * Answer and manage multiple incoming phone lines in a timely and professional manner * Route calls to appropriate departments and personnel * Support dispatch communications and coordination as needed * Maintain clear, accurate communication during urgent or high-volume situations * Document and log calls or messages as required * Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and tracking * Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external callers Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent required * Experience handling multiple phone lines required * Dispatch or call center experience highly preferred * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel * Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure * Flexible and dependable with weekend availability Schedule & Training * Training Schedule: * Day Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (3 weeks) * Swing Shift: Tuesday-Friday (2 weeks) * Post-Training Schedule (Expected): * Graveyard Shift: Thursday-Monday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Murrieta, CA.
