Product Owner (Contract Opportunity) Start Date: June 22, 2026 Location: Hunt Valley, MD (Hybrid) Type: Short-Term Contract (3 Months) Pay Rate: $43.00 - $50.00/hour About the Role We are seeking a Product Owner for a 3-month contract engagement, ideal for someone who can make an immediate impact and quickly ramp in an Agile environment. This role focuses on driving product delivery, managing priorities, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver business value within a defined timeline. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, project-based work and enjoys owning deliverables from concept through execution. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Planning: * Define product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals. * Leverage user feedback and market insights to guide decisions. Backlog Management: * Own and prioritize the product backlog. * Translate requirements into clear user stories. * Lead backlog grooming and refinement sessions. Stakeholder Collaboration: * Work cross-functionally with business, design, and engineering teams. * Act as the main point of contact for product-related communication. * Manage competing priorities and expectations. Delivery & Execution: * Support development teams in Agile ceremonies. * Ensure timely, high-quality delivery within the contract timeline. * Remove blockers and keep initiatives moving forward. Required Qualifications * 3-5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role. * Strong experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies. * Experience with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. * Background working with UX/UI teams. * Bachelor's degree required. Preferred Qualifications * PMP, CSPO, or similar certifications. * Experience in SaaS environments. * Strong understanding of SDLC and product lifecycle management.
