Meet the Team: Strategic Engagement Team (SET) supports account teams in solving customer outcomes with a combination of products and services. We are a team experienced in leading large, complex deals with a goal to enhance Cisco account team selling efforts with dedicated resources, deal expertise, proven processes and methodologies to accelerate and grow opportunities. Your Impact: As a Strategic Engagement Team Executive, you will be the driving force behind our high-value deal pursuits, providing leadership and strategic direction throughout the entire sales cycle. This role serves as the linchpin of deal quality, ensuring that all aspects of the service strategy, design, and operations align with Cisco's standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: o Lead strategic deal pursuits, providing expert consultation, comprehensive financial reviews, and validation post-initial scoping and pricing. o Collaborate with Sr. SET Executives on highly customizable and transformational deals, applying governance and complex Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Analysis o Articulate the value of software licenses and services, transforming customer needs into tangible outcomes. o Utilize advanced Excel skills to model scenarios, craft TCO comparisons, and support data-driven decision-making. o Manage multiple projects with precision, balancing competing priorities and engaging effectively with various stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications: o At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced sales or IT environment. Preferred Qualifications: o Demonstrated understanding of software license models and the ability to work alongside Product Specialists to create compelling Enterprise Agreement (EA) quotes. o Knowledgeable in Technical & Advanced Services with a proven track record of translating customer needs into successful service deliverables. o Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and financial modeling. o Exceptional organizational and time management skills to drive multiple projects forward. o Experience in EAMP Quoting, Proposal Creation, Collaboration & Teamwork, and Install Base Understanding. For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below: New York City Metro Area: $250,700.00 - $376,400.00Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $232,800.00 - $359,300.00* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined. ** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements. | |
