Job Summary:

The Graphic Design Intern will support Pave America's graphic design and marketing teams by assisting with the development of branded materials for digital and print use. This role is ideal for a student or early-career designer who wants hands-on experience creating assets that support social media, campaigns, regional marketing, and broader business goals.

Pave America is seeking motivated interns to join our summer marketing internship program. These roles provide hands-on experience supporting active marketing initiatives while working closely with experienced professionals across social media, creative, and regional marketing functions.

This is an 8-week paid internship running June through August. Interns work 40 hours per week in a hybrid/remote format and are expected to report two days per week to Bell Works in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. Candidates must be based in New Jersey. Compensation is $18-$20 per hour, and a letter of recommendation will be provided upon successful completion.



Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    Assist in designing branded graphics for social media, presentations, email campaigns, print collateral, and other marketing materials
  • Support the creative team with revisions, resizing, formatting, and production-ready file preparation
  • Help maintain visual consistency across materials in alignment with brand standards
  • Organize and update design files, templates, and shared asset libraries
  • Assist with photo, video, and multimedia editing projects as needed
  • Support design needs tied to regional marketing campaigns, events, and promotions
  • Collaborate with social media and marketing team members to execute creative requests
  • Participate in creative reviews and implement feedback efficiently
  • Contribute ideas that enhance visual storytelling and campaign performance


Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes):

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Familiarity with Canva and digital design for social or marketing is a plus
  • Strong eye for typography, layout, and brand consistency
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
  • Able to take feedback well and manage multiple deadlines
