Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packing & Logistics Specialist to join our team at Element South Windsor. This role is responsible for preparing, packing, and coordinating shipments while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $21- $22/hr DOE



Responsibilities

    Pack, label, and prepare aerospace components and materials for shipment in accordance with company and customer specifications
  • Ensure all packaging meets aerospace handling, traceability, and protection requirements
  • Comply with ITAR and export control regulations when handling controlled items and documentation
  • Maintain accurate shipping records, certifications, and chain-of-custody documentation
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments with approved carriers
  • Inspect items for quality, accuracy, and proper documentation prior to shipment
  • Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready work areas


Skills / Qualifications

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Eligibility to work with ITAR-controlled materials (U.S. person status required under ITAR)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
  • Basic understanding of shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
  • Prior experience in aerospace, logistics, or regulated environments preferred
