Due to the team location, we need folks to be in EST.
The Business Development Representative is an early-career sales professional (1-2 years of sales experience) responsible for coordinating, executing, and continuously improving the Business Development (BD) Framework across sales teams. This role serves as the central hub for process, systems, and content management related to BD campaigns, ensuring consistent execution and measurable impact.
In this role, you will:
Framework Execution & Coordination
  • Own and execute the BD Framework within assigned vertical or segment.
  • Coordinate and roll out cross-team campaigns, ensuring alignment across industries, line sizes, and personas.
  • Provide process guidance and best practices to support consistent, high-quality execution.
Process & System Improvement
  • Support Manager in managing BD Framework documentation, playbooks, and content libraries for sales team.
  • Support ongoing improvements in systems and workflows, including campaign tracking in CRM.
  • Lead initiatives in contact data clean-up, segmentation, and enrichment to improve targeting.
  • Partner cross-functionality with Sales Ops to define metrics, reporting, and dashboards to track BD campaign performance.
Innovation & Enablement
  • Work with Marketing and PMK to ensure content, messaging, and positioning align with customer needs. Create and modify content as required.
  • Coordinate adoption of AI tools and automation into BD workflows, piloting and scaling where successful.
  • Gather feedback from sales teams and contribute to refining the BD Framework, ensuring it evolves with customer and market needs.
Your background:
  • 1-2 years of sales, BDR, or SDR experience (SaaS or professional services preferred).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at a time.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (or similar CRM), SalesLoft, and sales automation tools.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate clearly across Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Growth mindset with interest in process optimization, technology enablement, and account-based selling strategies.
Base Salary Range: $48,600- $54,000
This position is also eligible to participate in our commission plan. Final base compensation is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, education, demonstrable experience, and allowance for future and continued salary growth.
