About the role

The Team Leaderis responsible fordirecting teammates in their respective area and managing day-to-day operations so that the team meetsitrequiredlevel of production.The team leaderis responsible forthe coordination of inbound and outbound product movements within the distribution center.Ensure that client orders are shippedin a timely mannerto meet client expectations. Monitor and document the daily volume of inbound andoutbound indepartmental records.Teamleader works closely with his or her teammates to resolve client problems and reports asrequiredon performance,issuesand resolutions.Teammate will follow all Insight policies and procedures.Each person is accountable for meeting or exceeding individual and/or departmental metrics.What you'll do at Insight:

• Effectivelyutilizea variety of communication tools to ensure key issues are communicated to teammates and management.
• Provides support in organizing andfacilitatingdepartmentor company meetings.
• Assume themanagersrole during manager absence.
• Proactively takes accountability for getting things done, driving tasksthrough tocompletion.
• Maintainwork flowand follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Assistsin dailywork flowto reduce oreliminateovertime.
• Work closely withmanagementteam to implement newprocessand procedures.
• Adhere to safety standards,immediatelycorrecting or reporting any unsafe conditions
• All other duties as assigned.

What were looking for:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Team Lead or Supervisory experience required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, otheremployees.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
• Ability to read, analyze, andinterpretsthe most complex documents.Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to write using original or innovative techniques or style.
• Ability to make effective and/or persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and/or boards of directors.
• Excellent communication andinter personalskills.
• Tracks andsubmitsideas and solutions for improvement.
• Exhibit a strong focus and attention to detail.
• Flexible in their approach to tasks.
• Proven ability to use initiative.
• Must be flexible to the needs of the client as this may require working outside of normal working hours.
• Must beexperiencein the use of Word and Excel.
