Job Summary and Responsibilities The Qualifying General Contractor serves as the responsible licensed professional for the company, ensuring all general contracting and related construction activities comply with state licensing laws, building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. This role manages, renews, and obtains new general contracting licenses in support of the company's pursuit, bid, and performance of construction services and provides technical oversight, supervision, of projects performed under the company's license. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Maintain up to date knowledge of construction laws, codes, and licensing requirements.

SKILLS
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
