Job Summary

The Revenue Applications Manager has primary responsibility to lead and supervise all analysts' tasks related to design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of billing and claims applications. They are responsible for maintaining relationships with the revenue/operational department representatives and subject matter experts. In addition, they are expected to obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of workflows and system functionality.

What you will do?

  • Provides leadership, Epic knowledge, and day-to-day guidance to all Application Analysts. Works with staff to define annual and semi-annual development plans.
  • Manages staff time and attendance, team on-call coverage, and PTO requests.
  • Reports completion of work plans for outstanding work, issues and risks on a weekly basis to project management, as well as key stakeholders as necessary
  • Drives team accountability through setting timeline and quality expectations, and monitoring and reporting on team progress continuously. Team work efforts to include, but not limited to, workflow analysis, documentation, build, testing, special updates, training curriculum collaboration.
  • Proactively proposes solutions to remediate instances where timeline and quality objectives are not being met.
  • Serves as a point of escalation for team, particularly including immediate production support issues. Escalates to project management and leadership, as appropriate
  • Ensures team compliance with Change Control procedures and compliance with issue ticketing update procedures. Drives staff development through goal-setting, coaching, and monitoring of staff career development.

What we need?

  • Baccalaureate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Administration, Business Administration or related field or equivalent education, training and/or experience
  • 2 years Systems Analyst experience or equivalent business/clinical experience in a health system.
  • 2 years Management or supervisor experience.
  • An understanding of EMR system capabilities to address process requirements

Please note: While this position is remote, we're only able to hire candidates who reside in Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan, or Colorado.
