Kitting/Data Entry Clerk-1st Shift

The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California's Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.

Job Purpose

A Kitting/Data Entry Clerkhandles both physical inventory assembly and digital records management. They pick, sort, and package materials into kits for production, while accurately entering inventory, tracking, and customer data into databases (e.g., Epicor, Excel). This role ensures accurate inventory control and maintains updated records for logistics

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

• Locate, pick, count, and package materials from storage according to production or shipping orders.
• Enter, update, and manage inventory, manufacturing, or customer information in computer databases with high accuracy.
• Process and update assembly work orders in ERP systems (e.g., Epicor) and manage inventory discrepancies.
• Verify items for accuracy, quality, and proper labeling before dispatch.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting daily cycle counts and updating records in real time

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in warehouse inventory, kitting, or office data entry is preferred.
• Must be willing to work overtime and be flexible with schedule changes
• Previous experience in warehouse, pick/pack, or kitting roles is often preferred
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs

Salary Range (annual): $47,840 - $54,080 ($23.00 - $26.00).
