In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Customer Service Robot Repair and Rebuild unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use tools, machinery and equipment on the Rebuild shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical manuals/instructions for disassembly, repair, assembly and testing of ABB robotic products. The work model for the role is: On-Site, in-person at ABB Robotics Auburn Hills MI. This role is contributing to the Customer Service Repair business. You will be mainly accountable for:

More about us: This position is for a Robot Rebuild/Repair Technician. The Auburn Hills Rebuild dept. is a Global Robotic Repair Center and has the ability to repair, refurbish and upgrade most ABB Robotic products including wrists, motors, electronics and robots. You will be assigned a work cell where you will inspect, write-up reports and repair industrial robots on a daily basis. The dept. has the ability to repair wrists, motors and electrical components associated with the robots and this position will heavily rely on you to repair the robots themselves. Other Techs will assist with the motors and wrist. The robot technician is ultimately responsible for the inspection, specification of parts, assembly, repair, testing, calibration and finalizing of customer owned or pre-owned robots.
