Social Worker - Hospital

Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Social Worker join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Provides direct social work services to patients, extending services to family members in need of identified social worker services, providing them with psychosocial and environmental support. Makes available a full range of treatment modalities with individuals, families, and groups, based on social work assessment and diagnosis. Coordinates social work services with other departments and providers within the Park Nicollet Health Services i.e., hospice, hospital and clinic based social workers and out of system providers.

Work Schedule:

Casual position with 2 eight-hour shifts per month OR 6 eight-hour shifts per quarter required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

• Bachelor's degree in social work

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

• Current license to practice Social Work in the State of Minnesota

• LSW

• Individuals are responsible for the travel arrangements required to meet the expectations of the position

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Requires basic computer/keyboarding skills.

• Master's degree in social work
