As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, visitor check-in activities, and/or other security-related policies appropriate for a shelter location.
• Screen residents, visitors, staff, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures, documenting concerns and reporting unusual activity to site leadership when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering clear directions and support during security-related and/or emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry points, common areas, and/or assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptive behavior.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity as working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
