Sr. Application Tester

Position Overview: VTG is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Application Tester to join our dynamic and innovative team in multiple locations across DC. Metro Area.

• The customer work environment consists of on premises and cloud computing infrastructure, a data lake tier, and applications support for the biographic and biometrics identity tools.

• Team members work in a multitasking, fast-paced, dynamic environment that comprises the principles of biometric technology, large-scale database and application development, large-scale file manipulation, data modeling, data mapping, data testing, data quality, and documentation preparation. The team works closely with analysts to gather requirements to support the customer's mission.

• The Team provides the software development, testing, training, and customer advocacy for the biographic and biometric identity tools.

• The Tester is an integral part of the Grogu Team and works as part of the Test Team. They take primary direction and guidance from the Applications SME/Test lead.

• The Tester's primary responsibilities are writing and maintaining manual Test Cases/Scripts.

• The Tester performs Unit, Integration, Functional, Interface, User Acceptance, And Regression Testing of the biographic and biometric applications.

• Testers are expected to be able to multitask and support multiple applications simultaneously.

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• - Writing and maintaining manual Test Cases/Scripts

  - Testing to ensure data integrity

  - Testing Big Data and Big Data systems

  - Testing against Acceptance Criteria

  - Testing in an Agile environment

  - Querying databases

  - Executing role-based testing

  - Testing for Accessibility and 508 Compliance

  - Using Accessibility Tools and Score Card

  - Performing Unit, Integration, Functional, Interface, User Acceptance, and Regression testing

  - Multitasking and supporting multiple applications simultaneously

  Possess excellent written communication, verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
