JOB SUMMARY: This position assesses the quality of software products utilizing various platforms and technologies in support of Company initiatives. This position utilizes skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry best practices in order to ensure that the Company's business applications function correctly and that they meet or exceed the requirements of the business users. This position plans for and estimates the test approach and scope, coordinating test cases design and execution, defect management and escalating issues when appropriate as well as communicating status on a timely basis. This position develops and executes a solid test approach that satisfies the business' needs while resolving a wide range of challenges in innovative ways. This position may oversee the work in-take process. JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB SCOPE: The incumbent is considered to be a fully competent professional who knows and applies a broad range of knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures. Works under limited supervision with independence and general latitude to make commitments with occasional need to confer with management. The incumbent understands when to escalate an issue to the next higher level and ensures that decisions consider the full implications (business, legal, and competitive) to both the Company and the customer. | |
