As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Unit in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post with opportunities to bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or operational concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support loss prevention and other store personnel during security-related incidents, medical calls, alarms, and/or emergency situations while following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
