As a Security Officer Credentialing Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support site operations through professional communication and customer service. This is a driving post that may involve routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and assisting with access management. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, check identification and/or badges, validate visitor access, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with location policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, and perimeter points to help support security-related operations within an industrial chemical location.
• Assist with vehicle and material access screening, maintain accurate logs and reports, and report access control concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Candidates must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
