Position Overview
dormakaba is seeking a Project Manager (onsite) based in Indianapolis, IN. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day activities of strategic projects, keeping a detailed and technical view of the project operations from start to finish, and monitoring and reporting on the project progress throughout the launch. HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $85,000 - $115,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) - Lead crossfunctional project planning and execution for strategic transformation initiatives, ensuring clear scope, ownership, timelines, budgets, and measurable outcomes
- Establish structured governance through documentation, dashboards, status reporting, and executivelevel communication to drive transparency and accountability
- Partner with leaders across Commercial, Operations, Finance, IT, and other functions to align priorities, coordinate resources, resolve issues, and manage interdependencies
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage tradeoffs and constraints, support financial tracking and business case validation, and escalate critical decisions when needed
- Drive organizational adoption by enabling change readiness, facilitating stakeholder communication, stabilizing postlaunch operations, and recommending scalable process improvements
What we require
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field
- 2+ years Project Management work experience, with working knowledge of project governance frameworks and structured reporting
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional initiatives impacting commercial or operational performance
- Experience presenting to senior leaders and facilitating decision-making discussions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
What we prefer
- Experience with Project Management or CRM tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Salesforce, Power BI)
- CAPM certification or equivalent formal Project Management training
- Exposure to change management methodologies (Prosci, ADKAR, etc.).
- Experience working in a matrixed, global organization; experience within manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environments
- Familiarity with financial modeling or ROI tracking related to commercial programs
