37.5 hours per week

• WOCN or CWCN certification required
• BLS certification required
• Proficient in pressure injury assessments, management, and treatment
• Experience in acute care/critical care settings, especially with ICU patients undergoing open heart surgery, heart and lung transplant cases, etc.

• Focus on pressure injury wounds, working closely with patients' primary nurses and/or educators
• Validate the staging, assessments, documentation, and treatments for pressure injuries
• Prioritize reducing and preventing pressure injuries
• Maintain an Excel spreadsheet to document key metrics for each patient with a pressure injury (e.g., staging, hospital-acquired vs. present upon admission)
• Flexible with end-of-shift times based on documentation, admissions/discharges, and staffing/scheduling needs
