Responsibilities
Position Overview: As a Manufacturing Manager, you'll be part of our Industrial Global Supply Chain Aerospace team working as an on-site employee. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for daily production of gang channels, anchor nuts, and washers, along with driving efficiencies for the heat treat and special processing functions. Key Responsibilities: ' Ensures to run a safe, injury/accident-free workplace. ' Responsible for daily management and leadership of all resources assigned. ' Schedule adherence, productivity, personnel development, time and attendance, training and establishing/monitoring departmental goals. ' Enhances the operational procedures, processes and systems to improve operational efficiencies. ' Works independently and within a team while coordinating with other Departmental Leaders and/or Managers to achieve daily/weekly/monthly goals and objectives. ' Interprets company policies to workers, leads by example and enforces all Federal, State and local regulations. ' Creates a departmental cross training matrix and mentors assigned personnel. ' Deploys team members to both strategically and tactically engage in cross functional problem solving to improve production efficiency and product quality. ' Executes the production schedule, manage people, assets, tooling and materials in running the production in most productive fashion; engage actively in potential schedule or requirement changes; ensure and enhance production schedule adherence. ' Manages Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and other reporting daily to drive performance in all assigned areas; and ensure all production data accuracies. ' Ensures employees are trained on post manufacturing processing procedures and practices. ' Reviews variable costs, productivity, earned standard hours and throughput daily and implement effective recovery or corrective actions when targets are not achieved. ' Actively participates in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to increase efficiency, productivity and machine utilization while reducing overall cost. ' Provides manufacturing expertise when problems arise. ' Formulates and maintains the highest standards of housekeeping (6S) in all areas assigned. ' Supports and improves upon quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals. ' Manages preventative maintenance performed by production employees. Other duties as assigned. ,
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: ' Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience. ' A minimum of 7 years of experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in Aerospace, Medical Device, Automotive, or similar industry. ' Experience hardening, tempering, annealing, and other heat-treating processes. ' Experience applying coatings and plating to aerospace parts using automated equipment or manual techniques. ' Understanding of stamping processes, including blanking, forming, and piercing. ' Strong analytical and understanding of techniques to meet coating and thickness desired. ' Effective verbal and written communications skills at all levels of the organization, especially with direct employees. ' Previous supervisory experience leading large teams (40+ people). ' Intermediate use of ERP (JDE), MS Office Suite and productivity tools.

Preferred Qualifications: ' Experience with chemistry, metallurgy, material science or related field /equivalent. Salary Range: The base pay range for this position in California, is $105,400.00 - $147,500.00/year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. ,
