Job Description

The Stellantis Industrial Systems (SIS) Lead/Master Plan Manager partners with the Plant Manager to develop and execute strategic plans, lead managerial domain activities, align priorities, and monitor key performance indicators. This role supports leaders through training, coaching, and succession planning while ensuring alignment to plant KPI's and SIS expectations and objectives.



The Master Plan Manager coordinates the logistics of internal reviews, internal audits, and external audits, serving as the primary liaison with external stakeholders and other plant support resources. The role supports the development and implementation of best practices, collaborates with leaders to build route maps, and provides coaching to drive successful execution of objectives. Additionally, the Master Plan Manager removes roadblocks, supports domain leaders who are challenged with timing or strategy, and as needed, participates in audits at other plants to gain insights and strengthen implementation and coaching effectiveness.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations management experience in automotive assembly manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required
  • Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to coach / mentor / develop team members
  • Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead team
  • Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing
  • Strong presentation skills (with the ability to present to large groups)
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with advanced knowledge of the tools used (Kaizen, EWO, Gemba, 5WHY, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Advanced degree
  • Strong knowledge of Stellantis Industrial Systems pillar methodology and implementation or continuous improvement systems, such as Transformation Cost, Total Production Cost
  • Previous experience working in a union environment
  • Production/maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • WCM / SPW Background
