The Sonos Product Validation Team accelerates the journey from concept to customer by providing the tools, logistics, expertise, and real-world validation required to release extraordinary products. We rapidly deliver Sonos innovation with real-world confidence.

As a Product Validation Program Manager, you'll help deliver a consistent, high-quality field testing and product validation service to Sonos teams. You'll plan and run end-to-end Hardware and Software programs with real customers, combining both product telemetry and user feedback to inform product readiness decisions.

Visa Sponsorship: Sonos is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role at this time. We ask that applicants be authorized to work for any US employer, both now and in the future.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver Product Validation programs using standard playbooks - including test pool creation, program plans, communications, dashboards, surveys, and success metrics.

  • Coordinate tester cohorts and logistics, including onboarding, NDAs and hardware/build/feature access.

  • Manage build distribution, participant communications and coordinate updates with Product, QA, Engineering, Release, and CX stakeholders.

  • Partner with Product, Data and Engineering to ensure telemetry is available, and track indicators like engagement, adoption, repeat use, and task success alongside feedback.

  • Maintain program dashboards and status reporting to surface decision-ready summaries and recommended actions. Support release decision points by contributing clear confidence assessments and Go/No-Go recommendations.

  • Drive continuous improvement: keep templates and documentation current, identify and resolve process gaps, and leverage automation and AI-assisted workflows to increase speed, consistency, and quality.

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong organization and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple work streams with deadlines.

  • Clear written and verbal communications, comfort working cross-functionally.

  • Comfort working with technical partners (Engineering/QA/Release)

  • ~2+ years of relevant industry experience in program management, operations, or QA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with work tracking and documentation tools (Asana, Jira, Confluence or similar).

  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.

  • Interest in tooling and continuous improvement using automation, templates, and AI-assisted workflows to make the service faster and more consistent.
