Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Analyst - Data & Quality Assurance-Red+F.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager and working closely with the Senior Data and Quality Assurance Analysts, the Data and Quality Assurance Analyst support RED+Fs Tableau Analytics environment and data initiatives. They collaborate on preparing business and technical documentation, developing dashboards and data visualization tools, and participate in quality assurance activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the Senior Data and Quality Assurance Analyst, develop dashboards, reports and other data visualization tools in RED+Fs data management environment (Tableau)
  • Support working with MCIT to maintain data storage environments
  • Work with Quality Assurance Manager and Quality and Data Analyst(s) to develop, update and maintain business and QA process documentation
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and data integrity activities
  • Assist with preparation of presentation materials
  • Support Quality Assurance Manager as needed
  • Support data collection activities using a variety of software solutions, including Tableau, Procore, Oracle Unifier/P6, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and others.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, data science, computer science, mathematics or related field
  • 1 year experience in data analytics and visualization (using Tableau, preferred), preferably in a healthcare or life sciences setting
  • Proficiency working with relational databases
  • Strong proficiency with advanced Excel functions
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and graphical
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in engineering, data science, computer science, mathematics or related field
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL and other programming languages

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $61,288.35 - $105,722.27 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
