CLA is an established top 10 accounting and tax advisory firm expanding its Digital Consulting practice. Our Digital Consulting Enablement Team integrates Organizational Change Management (OCM), Project Management, and Business Analysis capabilities.

Digital Project Management Consulting Director

CLA is currently seeking a Digital Project Management Consulting Director to join our growing Digital practice. This leadership role is responsible for owning the development and execution of project proposals and delivery strategies that align with business goals, timelines, methodologies, and staffing requirements. The Digital Director ensures project quality, manages risk, and drives successful outcomes across complex, crossfunctional digital initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

Project Management Leadership

  • Lead the planning and execution of digital initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that define deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Direct and manage endtoend project execution, including tracking progress, resolving dependencies, and ensuring accountability across teams.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues, serving as an escalation point for complex or unforeseen challenges.
  • Analyze key performance metrics to assess project health and proactively address impacts to scope, timeline, or quality.
  • Ensure adherence to project standards, methodologies, and quality expectations across all engagements.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and inspire diverse, crossfunctional project teams in a collaborative, teamoriented environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including service and industry teams, Enterprise Marketing, Learning & Development, Enterprise Information Technology, executive leadership, and external partners.
  • Establish clear, consistent communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, making communication an integral part of all planning and execution activities.
  • Provide timely, transparent updates to Managing Principals, Principals, Executive Leaders, and vendors.
  • Operate in an agile environment, adapting project direction based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Drive continuous improvement of project management methodologies to support predictable execution, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.
  • Identify and implement best practices that enhance delivery quality and scalability across the Digital service.
  • Ensure processes, standards, and methodologies are well documented to support training, consistency, and execution excellence.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and guide members of the Digital Project Management team to ensure strong project leadership and delivery outcomes.
  • Support team development by acting as a Peer Advisor and/or Career Coach, helping team members grow their skills and advance their inspired careers at CLA.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the project management team.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

7 years of experience working in project management required. * Experience with IS&T-oriented projects, such as data integration, dashboard development, or software development preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree required. (Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.)

Certifications / Licenses

None required. * Project Management Institute certification preferred.
