Ensuring the production sites' safety strategy complies with Regional and Global policies, OSHA, and relevant government regulations. Ensuring continuous improvement of safety culture and procedures while delivering product on-time, on-specification, and at the right quantity. Ensuring that the production areas and processes comply with all relevant standards such as GMP, FSSC, ISO14001 Driving continuous improvement of product quality, including reducing complaints and addressing internal and external audit findings. Advocating and using Lean/GO4Excellence tools ensuring continuous improvement. Ensuring the production site has mid- and long-term investment plans, and it invests diligently to address gaps in capacity, compliance, and capability. Being responsible for overall economy of the production site, through control and oversight of budgets. Being responsible for supporting and ensuring business processes (such as SAP) are run effectively. Being responsible for up to 9 direct reports and their development. Living and exemplifying culture commitments and motivate to drive a sustainable high-performance culture. Overseeing performance management cycle including mid-year and annual reviews, business targets, Individual Development Plans, 1-on-1 meetings, continuous feedback, and organizational reviews. Ensuring successful collaboration across departments, regional support functions, and production sites
To succeed you must hold:
B.S. in Engineering or related field, Masters Degree/MBA is a plus Minimum 6 years of manufacturing/production experience Minimum 2 years of people management with experience demonstrated in supervision, management, and leadership. Excellent organizational skills with effective written and oral communication Must possess visual acuity and physical abilities to support all functions of position.
