Job Summary

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (https://ce.gatech.edu) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA invites applications for a Research Engineer II to work in the Xie Lab.

Required Qualifications

A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or closely related field, and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree, or

A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or closely related field, and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or

A Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering, or closely related field.

Proposed Salary

Salary: $65,000

Duties will include:

Working on research projects, including roadway asset management, maintenance, and rehabilitation, as well as roadway safety.

Mentoring and supervising students, including PhD, MS, and undergraduate students.

Assisting with developing proposals.

Assisting with teaching of courses.
