THE ROLE

The Operations Process Transformation Consultant team work across MFS global operations groups to inspire, identify, and define new paths for future state operations. The team addresses strategic challenges and opportunities with thoughtful, rigorous, and provocative points of view by attracting diverse top talent and developing them into future leaders. As a part of the team, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of strategic business challenges - preparing you for increasing leadership roles and advancing your career.

Additionally, the individual participates in department wide projects, performing support functions on behalf of the team. This role is expected to provide supportive partnership across the department to execute on solutions, decrease operational risk and promote long-term efficiency, as well as to provide informal guidance to individuals in the analyst role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Performs tasks varying in complexity according to guidance, in support of the group's business operations. Works with the Senior Manager (or team lead) to deliver actionable insights to support business objectives.
  • Builds strong working relationships by combining strong organizational skills with a growing business understanding to ensure deliverables are executed on time. This role liaises with other functional groups in the department relative to their participation in the lifecycle of a project or initiative.
  • Partners with core functional teams to learn about the status of existing projects and details about new projects. Is expected to review current and future timelines and job statuses with the heads of department and the individuals working on the jobs. Helps to efficiently scope, resource, and track deliverables through project lifecycles.
  • Participates in developing and enhancing operational processes and mitigating risks by providing feedback to management or team lead on existing operations.
  • Contribute to status meetings, update status reports, deploy meeting notes with clear, actionable next steps.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of work experience; prior management consulting, strategy, financial services or similar experience preferred
  • Analytically minded with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize findings and develop practical, concrete recommendations
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and change management skills.
  • Hands-on experience in business process reengineering and system integrations.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Lean or other process improvement methodologies preferred but not required.

Base Salary Range: $55,500.00 - $80,500.00 This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.

This range reflects our good-faith expectation forwhat we'll pay depending on the candidate's experience, training and education. In addition to the salary, we also offer significant and competitive incentive compensationbased on both individual and company performance. Other components of our Total Rewards Package include:
