Highly Skilled Maintenance Mechanic (Aerospace)

Day Shift and Swing Shift Positions Open.

Responsible for installation, repair and for keeping the manufacturing/production equipment running safely and reliably by performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing breakdowns, and completing corrective repairs across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Install, repair and maintain production/manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspect equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties, per manufacturer's specifications.
  • Diagnose complex equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments efficiently.
  • Interpret and follow written instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings and documents.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
  • Train others in multiple areas and on a variety of skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with others to identify, schedule, and plan repairs, maintenance activities, and project work.
  • Devise and develop machinery and equipment improvements, build or perform modifications when approved.
  • Manage work performed by to ensure compliance with company safety and quality requirements.
  • Serves as a resource to others to resolve complex challenges.
  • May oversee others.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years industrial maintenance experience minimum required.
  • Must have forklift certification and be proficient with moving large equipment.
  • Complete a formal training or apprenticeship program in a related field such as mechanical, facilities (carpentry, plumbing and HVAC), electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems or have equivalent experience that demonstrates high technical ability.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities.
  • Requires strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required

Physical Requirements

Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing and handling of material.

Use of protective clothing, goggles, and other equipment to prevent injuries. Wearing a respirator may also be required.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $35.25/hr to $44.7/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
