What You'll Do Day-To-Day * Knowledge and experience to advise nuclear power plants on secondary side chemistry performance including steam generators, condensate, feedwater, and turbine systems * Provide technical guidance on chemistry control programs in alignment with EPRI Secondary Water Chemistry Guidelines * Support nuclear power plants in outages with advice and consultation and also receiving and analyzing samples, including chemistry sampling, data review, troubleshooting. * Interpret laboratory data and identify trends, risks, or degradation mechanisms * Develop technical reports, presentations, and client-facing deliverables * Support steam generator chemistry optimization, corrosion mitigation strategies, and R&D opportunities * Support processing and disposition of chemical cleaning waste for SG chemical cleaning projects * Contribute to continuous improvement of chemistry programs and best practices * Lead and manage chemistry team to maintain and expand detrimental material analysis and database * Process engineering participation with application and water management development for SG chemical cleaning opportunities * Provide advice, consultation, and direction to Chemistry Material Center (CMC) lab in the analytical lab, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) imaging equipment, Radiochemistry, Failure analysis, corrosion testing and analysis, FTIR spectroscopy, etc. * Provide on-site and remote technical support to nuclear utility customers What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related technical discipline
